The Puzzle of My Life
The Years Pass us by so Quickly...
The puzzle that is my life is worn and
critical pieces seem to be missing.
I can't seem to find them and some provide joy,
health, fullfillment or peace.
You sense that you need all the pieces in place and to fit right.
If not, than your life feels out of balance.
When you try to force a piece into your puzzle that you want
it does not fit and it just throws everything into more crises.
Some pieces were just not meant to be in your puzzle.
You frantically try to find the right pieces and hope they
fit into place so that you can feel whole again.
Your past-present and future seems to depend on having a
complete and orderly puzzle like a solid chain of links.
With age the pieces do get worn and sometimes lost and we
have to learn to adjust to making the good pieces of our puzzle
do the extra work needed for keeping us in balance
and feeling in control of our life.
The reality is that all the pieces have a purpose even if they
are not your favorite or most important to you, they are
there to do a job that is called life and all the good and
bad that goes with it.
So I have learned to accept my worn and tattered puzzle
of my life and do the best with the pieces I have left.

Doctors - Learn to Listen!
Hey Doctors - Reach out & touch someone
-- with a warm heart and a kind soul ?
=======================================
All Doctors should be required to Watch
the "Patch Adams" Movie...
Doctors have forgotten how to Listen.
Doctors have lost their connection with
the Humanity chapter in all those
medical Books and lessons.
Where has the Passion gone to help those
in need?
You step into a Physician's Office and you
see signs all informing you of what they
can't do, won't do and of course How & When
they want their Payments!
After your visit -- They would fail a Test
on remembering what you actually aksed them
and also why you came to see them. If you
are impressive enough, they may even
remember you as a person with a name
and not a case # or disease :)
You may even be prescribed Medications
that are related to your symptoms - and
if you are real lucky, Your Insurance
just might cover it...Not!
We need the human touch & a few smiles
and the acknowledgement of our pains
and existence who only wish to be treated
with compassion and helped with our sufferings
-- be it Physical or Mental --
Just one of many souls getting lost in
the maze of our Medical mazes of long
white coats filled with cold unfeeling
souls, Greedy Insurance & Pharmacutical
companies.

Billy Virgo

Hope for a Better Time
Billy Virgo sends his best wishes to the world
for a New Year filled with Good health, Prosperity
and for more Peace among humanity.
We are being swamped with tons of Bad News
on the TV everyday. Battles still rage,
Financial Crisis, Human Rights issues,
natural and manmade disasters... will it
ever get better?
Each individual can make a difference if we
think and act in a positive way in our daily
life. Our "Energy" multiplied by many can
spread around the world and touch those in
need.
Take the time to be Encouraging, supportive,
caring, giving and kind to one new soul each
day or week and see how much better YOU will
feel in your daily Life.
We must believe in better times for mankind
and our planet. Learn to be kinder and to
share with all people from all cultures and
beliefs. Speak, Write and Act so that you reach
as many people as you can. Be it a small town
or a big city, you can make a difference!
Man must take responsibility for our actions
and find a way to make Peace - to Share our
Knowledge & Wealth with others so as to
Survive as a planet and for all humanity.
If you are feeling down during these hard times,
then look in the Mirror and say out loud:
"I am a good person & I Deserve better
by doing my share of good!"
Then stand straight & tall, shoulders back,
your back straight, a smile on your face and
get out there to Help & Share with others.
One small action of kindness can spread like
a wildfire if we all do our part to make our
world a better place to live in "2009"...
We have the god-given talents and tools to
make all things a better and happier place
as we share our space with others.
The time has come for man to act!
Don't sit on the sidelines and let others
decide your / our destiny - let Your Voice
be heard once and for all - Now is the Time.
Yesterday is a cancelled check, Today is
Cash and Tomorrow is a Promisary Note. So
act Today & Spend the Cash!
What ever talents you have - Let your
Needs and cares be heard...Dance it, Sing it,
Write it, email it...Just Do Something.
I hope all my ramblings of today maybe touch
even one kind Soul so that they may start
to be one of us that will make a difference
so we all may enjoy a better World filled
with Good-Will" to all mankind.
Kindest Regards,
Billy Virgo

Humor & Life = Share a Laugh!
"Life With Woody"
10 Inspirational Quotes that can Improve Your Outlook on Life
It might take a little coffee or probably a few rounds of beer or any other booze you could get your hands on when it comes to relaxing after a hard day's work. Well, yeah I'm guilty about that one as well, unless I'm caught dead wearing a lampshade over my head after a few rounds of vodka… half-naked! Okay, bad example and I apologize to everyone reading this after getting nightmares about me in that state of drunken stupor.
Just don't ask how it happened, please.
But what's really interesting is that how do people go through the usual part of life when faced with vein-popping stress? I mean, the new age thing like Zen or yoga is one of the good things and it actually works. Is there room for the intellectual side of people who can actually smell the roses-in-a-can while on the move? It kind of had me thinking that there really must be something in this 'mind-over-matter' thing.
Humor is indeed the best medicine there is whenever you are. I mean anyone can pay good money to listen to a comedian just to make you wet your pants after laughing so hard. Despite of what's been happening, and to those who has gone though the ordeal, it's better to just laugh while facing the troubles with a clear mind than anger with a clouded vision. One of my favorite celebrities of all time may have to be Woody Allen. Now this is one guy who gives you the in-your-face bluntness that he pulls out with gusto, even without even trying. You can talk just about anything with a man, and he's bound to mock the subject and you'll end up laughing rather than being upset about it.
Woody Allen has this to say:
1. "Money is better than poverty, if only for financial reasons." It sounds good to me, I mean the practicality of all things does involve money but it doesn't have to take an arm and a leg to get it.
2. "I believe there is something out there watching us. Unfortunately, it's the government." 'Nuff said.
3. "There are worse things in life than death. Have you ever spent an evening with an insurance salesman?" This happens to be one of the classic ones. I mean the issue about life's little problems isn't all that bad, until 'he' shows up.
Sure, relationships can get complicated, or does have its complications that probably any author about relationships is bound to discover it soon. We follow what our heart desires, unless you're talking about the heart as in the heart that pump blood throughout your body.
4. "Love is the answer, but while you're waiting for the answer, sex raises some pretty interesting questions." And if you want more, just keep on asking!
5. "A fast word about oral contraception. I asked a girl to go to bed with me, she said 'no'." It sounds, 'practical', I think.
And when it comes to everyday life, he really knows how to make the best out of every possible scenario, and it doesn't involve a lawsuit if he strikes a nerve.
6. "Basically my wife was immature. I'd be at home in the bath and she'd come in and sink my boats." I never had a boat in my bathtub before. Just staring at it while soaking in hot water makes me seasick already.
7. "I am not afraid of death, I just don't want to be there when it happens." If it rains, it pours.
8. "I am thankful for laughter, except when milk comes out of my nose." It could get worse when you're guzzling on beer… or mouthwash, and it happened to me once!
9. "If you want to make God laugh, tell him about your plans." At least he doesn't smite us with lightning, and I'm thankful for that.
And despite of what may happen to all of us in the next ten, twenty, or even thirty years, I guess we all have to see things in a different kind of light and not just perspective. I can't seem to imagine life without any piece of wisdom that could guide us. Whether we're religious or not, it takes more courage to accept your fears and learn how to deal with them is all that matters when it comes to even just getting along.
And to sum things up, here is the last nugget of wisdom to go by… however, whenever, and wherever we may be.
10. "The talent for being happy is appreciating and liking what you have, instead of what you don't have."
Ciao!
Hope You Enjoyed Billy Virgo Sharing this with you!

Human Rights For All?
THIS IS FOR THE MAY 15th Blog Catalog
Humanitarian Project...
"Amnesty International is thrilled to be a part of Bloggers Unite for Human Rights," "Bloggers Unite for Human Rights is a great way to harness the power of the Internet to fight injustice and make the world a better place."
There are any great human rights organizations all over the world, but if you would like to know something about our Amnesty International, please visit http://www.amnestyusa.org
for more information.
Currently, Amnesty International is working to stop the abuse of internationally recognized human rights in over 150 countries and territories. The organization won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1961.
------------------------------------------------
Here is a wild idea!
Maybe we should have A UN that is actually a
World Organization with the support and power
to make humanitarian decisions with out all
the politics and bullshit.
No Negotiations - You mess with the safety, health or rights
of any citizens of the Planet Earth - They kick your ass
and fix the problem.
Have not figured out yet who the "They" will be...
Any Ideas for us?
Enough talk already. Lets have some solutions and actions.
Either the super powers close their borders and
just take care of their own citizens and problems,
pull out all their military and
money contributions and just let
"them" clean up their own messes
and or destroy themselves --
Or we all go in and clean house
in a revolutionary way the world has never seen before.
Enough young folks all fighting and dying for all the
wrong reasons. Enough starvation and disease while
the rest bitch about the poor taste of their wine or the
steak is over cooked.
Maybe it is time for the 40 days of ---- ? Wash all the
crap away and start over?
Billions are spent on useless projects or ideas to feed the
ego of the powerful and greedy. Let them all go homeless
for a month to see if it gets their priorities in life in
a more perspective light of what really is important.
Why not leave behind a legacy that shows that there were
those foot prints in the sand of humans that helped humanity.
Boy, Billy Virgo's mind is racing like I'm on the Speedway Track
and have no brakes to stop :)
--------------------------------------------------------
THESE ARE JUST SOME OF THE HUMAN
RIGHTS ISSUES THAT Amnesty International
are ADDRESSING TO THE WORLD AS OF NOW:
--------------------------------------------------------
Human Rights In China:
China has long promised to improve its human rights record for before the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics. Instead, there has been a crackdown on peaceful dissent in Tibet, prominent human rights activists, and media. Today, China human rights record is worse than it was before they made their promise.
China currently holds the world record for the largest number of imprisoned journalists and cyber-dissidents. One of the most prominent stories includes journalist Shi Tao, who is serving a 10-year sentence in a Chinese prison for sending an email! On May 15, you can do something about it.
Call for the release of Shi Tao and other prisoners in China.
Urge your U.S. representative to press the Chinese government to release Shi Tao and others who were jailed simply for their legitimate use of the Internet.
Ask Yahoo Not to Violate Human Rights:
Yahoo! helped put Shi Tao in prison. They provided information to the Chinese Government, which led to his unjust imprisonment.
Illegal Detentions at Guantanamo Bay:
Since first detainees arrived on January 11, 2002, the U.S. detention facility at Guantánamo Bay has become a global symbol of U.S. human rights violations. Infractions have included: illegal detention, denial of fundamental legal rights, and torture. The only proper recourse is to close the detention facility.
Amnesty International calls for detainees held at Guantánamo Bay, other U.S. facilities, and secret CIA sites to be charged and given fair trial before independent and impartial tribunals such as U.S. federal courts. Tearitdown.org is Amnesty International’s global initiative to end illegal US detentions. On May 15, you can do something about it.
Sign the tearitdown.org pledge
and ask your readers to do the same. Only action and attention will end the illegal detentions at Guantanamo Bay.
Crisis in Darfur:
One of the worst atrocities and abuses of human rights in the world today is taking place in Darfur, Sudan. The conflict in this country has led to the worst human rights abuses imaginable — the systematic and widespread murder, rape, abduction, and displacement of peaceful citizens.
Hundreds of thousands of civilians have been killed in deliberate and indiscriminate attacks by both sides of the warring factions. Today, more than 2.5 million civilians have been displaced in the Sudan. On May 15, you can do something about it.
Write about the human rights abuses taking place in Drafur
and ask your readers to take action for the people of Darfur.
They have no voice so the world has to their voice for them.
If you have a Blog --
You can share your Views with the World as well...
YOU review the Facts and YOU decide what YOU feel is
the right things to do!
